Eks lands on A Flooded Need with Easy Sampling - the label's first vinyl release.

The work presents itself as a perfect hybrid between the world of slowed down/chop 'n' screw music from Houston and the universe of experimental abstract/glitch music, crossing the dangerous fields of noise, improvisation and no-input theories. 
The dualism between classic and experimental beatmaking are filtered together with syrup, making the narrative fluid of the tracks a set of distinguishable but cohesive emotions.

Slowing down as a religion, an imperative, a battle cry, an essential value. 
Sinister hybrids of hip-hop and edgy electroacoustics make for a shadowy, borderless landscape that cannot be labelled in any way.
A peculiar and very personal tribute to the world of hip hop and black music in general, drawing on unusual and unexpected elements; a mini album of body and melancholy, nostalgically approaching bewitched and dark territories, leaving us with the possibility of being wrong once again.
